Peter Bartlett is a practising Solicitor; he is a trained Christian Counsellor who attained accreditation through CWR and has practised as a counsellor for over thirty years; he was accredited as a Civil Mediator through ADR (one of the leading accreditation bodies for secular mediation in the UK) in 1999 and then studied with Peacemakers International and attained accreditation as a Christian Mediator in 2002; he has provided Christian mediation for over 20 years. Having been a Director and CEO of another mediation provider for over 15 years he decided, when that organisation adjusted its focus, to leave and then to found Access Christian Mediation in order to concentrate on and develop the provision of mediation and training.

For the last 12 years, Peter has been joined in the provision of mediation at mediation meetings and been assisted by his wife Julia and the two of them will continue to work together as an effective and very experienced team. Both Peter and Julia are committed Christians who have been involved in Christian ministry together for many years. Peter is also a preacher, speaker and Biblical teacher in the UK and elsewhere. He will continue to be available for the provision of leadership and other training and teaching, speaking engagements and will provide and present the training programmes of Access Christian Mediation.
